Exploring Client Referrals: It’s Warm but not a Handoff

Peers play an essential role in helping to ensure a quality continuum of care for the individuals they serve. The presence of peer workers in organizations often enhances the reach and success of recovery support and HIV services. Peer workers often help to establish and enhance partnerships between organizations, while reaching individuals in communities of color, addressing stigma, and connecting individuals to much-needed health and social services. The purpose of this webinar is to provide information on establishing and maintaining effective referral processes both inside and outside of peers’ respective organizations.
